How to Turn any Psychological Scars Around and Why You Should
Life is not fair. Likely it will leave you with psychological scars. Learn in this article how to turn any psychological scars around.
With the death of my father at a young age, it hit me very hard that our lives can end in just a fraction of a second.
It is an experience where words just can’t express the pain that you go through.
However, deep within that experience there lay a lesson. A lesson for which I thank my father very deeply.
Make every minute count. Because you simply do not have as many of them as you might think.
You’ve been given a book with empty pages – a life. You are currently writing an original story.
One that has never been told, and one that never will be told again.
You should be damn proud of being given this opportunity to do that.
You should be very proud. Yet so many people don’t. They waste their time, waiting, and ultimately run out of pages to write their story on.
Don’t be like that!
You have the pen in your hands. And at any given moment, you can make a turning point in your story, you can start a new chapter. It literally, is all in your hands.
In the end, it’s the story that we write that will be remembered and passed on. But understand, the time that we have been given to write it, is unknown.
Make it count my friends.
Write your story, with passion and live your life, with no regrets.

Addiction is complex, deeply human, and often misunderstood.
In this episode, we take a grounded and practical look at what addiction really is and how it can be treated effectively.
I’m joined by Kevin Cornelius, a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical director at the Feeling Good Institute Silicon Valley.
Kevin specializes in TEAM-CBT, a powerful and evolving therapeutic approach developed by psychiatrist David Burns.
What I am hoping you get out of this episode, besides learning some of the reasons why people stay addicted, is that you will learn some practical techniques to start taking a small step toward freeing yourself from whichever addiction you might be struggling with.
If, after this episode, you’d like to learn more about the effects addiction has on the brain, do have a listen to the episode I did with Dr. Grisel, titled The Brain on Addiction.
