“In life, there are no mistakes, only lessons.”
― Vic Johnson
Did you feel that?
No?
Read the quote again, but slowly.
Quotes – a handful of words, but words that hit us in the right spot: our heart. There is power contained within quotes, an enormous power.
The power of wisdom.
If you want to influence your happiness, read a few quotes every day from people who inspire you. Write the most powerful ones down in your phone, computer or on a piece of paper and read them throughout the day.
Use them as a guiding source to steer you, to help you to remember the positive, when you are struggling with a particular issue, or something is getting you down.
In difficult times what we need is not a long conversation with someone trying to motivate us, or a book with the same motive. But a strong and powerful speech – a quote.
Just a few words to touch you right in the heart.
I’ve got a list of hundreds of quotes, all categorized on a Word page on my computer.
Whenever I need motivation for a particular reason or problem, I open that page and just the right emotions burst from the screen and right into me.
Because I know their power I’ve moved that list here to The IPS Project, so you too can use them and benefit from them.
Favourite the Quote List and put it in your bookmarks!
With the categories you can search for the quotes that are relevant at that particular moment.
I’m constantly adding new quotes to the list, so try to do this on a daily basis and you will see how they will influence you to begin thinking and feeling positively – which in turn results in you feeling happier.
This list is available here for you, so use it!
Let the wisdom from a thousand others, help you with your life.

Addiction is complex, deeply human, and often misunderstood.
In this episode, we take a grounded and practical look at what addiction really is and how it can be treated effectively.
I’m joined by Kevin Cornelius, a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical director at the Feeling Good Institute Silicon Valley.
Kevin specializes in TEAM-CBT, a powerful and evolving therapeutic approach developed by psychiatrist David Burns.
What I am hoping you get out of this episode, besides learning some of the reasons why people stay addicted, is that you will learn some practical techniques to start taking a small step toward freeing yourself from whichever addiction you might be struggling with.
If, after this episode, you’d like to learn more about the effects addiction has on the brain, do have a listen to the episode I did with Dr. Grisel, titled The Brain on Addiction.
